Position Title: Chief Development Officer

FLSA Status: Full Time, Exempt
Hiring range: $120,000 - $150,000

About this Position
This Chief Development Officer is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of fundraising, development, and communications within the organization. This individual will create and operationalize a fund development strategy and will oversee all internal and external communications, including media relations, digital content, public relations, and community outreach efforts. This position works closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership to build and execute strategic initiatives that support the organization's growth, sustainability, and mission impact. The CDO plays a critical role in expanding revenue streams, fostering key relationships, and ensuring that the organization meets its fundraising goals. In addition, the CDO oversees the communications team to ensure that the organization’s message is consistently and effectively communicated to stakeholders, donors, and the general public.
