Hiring range starts at:    $44,000-$47,000

The Coordinator, Job Quality Initiatives will play a key role in ensuring that local workers have access to high quality jobs that provide economic stability, economic mobility, and equity, respect, and voice. This position will support the continued development of Partner4Work’s job quality framework and the implementation of promising practices within business engagement and workforce services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about changing systems to benefit workers while allowing businesses to thrive.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Research and Resource Development:

●      Research relevant job quality topic areas to inform Partner4Work’s strategic planning, decision making, and stakeholder engagement.

●      Assist in the development and maintenance of Partner4Work’s job quality framework, toolkit, and employer badging system.

●      Maintain a detailed knowledge of national job quality resources that Partner4Work adopts for local use, including the Departments of Commerce and Labor’s Job Quality Toolkit.

●      Prepare presentation materials, including 1-pagers, slides, reports and other materials as needed for internal and external use.

●      Engage with peers through national job quality networks to equally learn about and share promising practices, challenges, and opportunities for shared impact.

 

Relationship and Project Management:

●      Coordinate partnerships with employers, partners, and other community stakeholders focused on advancing job quality. Serve as the primary point of contact for specific job quality partners.

●      Share job quality resources, events, and engagement opportunities with designated external audiences. Work with the communications team to provide content for Partner4Work social media channels. 

●      Provide input on stakeholder engagement strategies.

●      Support stakeholder voice efforts to ensure that Partner4Work job quality initiatives are directly informed by individuals and communities most affected by the work. Efforts may include conducting surveys, focus groups, and other engagement strategies.

●      Collaborate across Partner4Work departments.

●      Compile qualitative and quantitative information for project and grant reporting.

●      Provide project management support for specific project and grant activities.

●      Assist in the contracting processes, as needed, including finalizing the scope of work, developing supporting materials, and working with the fiscal team to create final contracts.

●      One to two years of related experience in a for-profit or non-profit environment.

●      Professional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

●      Ability to organize and summarize a high volume of information from various sources, including reports, webinars, white papers, toolkits, etc.

●      Strong project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at once, prioritizing and managing time effectively.

●      Demonstrated relationship building and management skills with diverse audiences.

●      Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

●      Proficiency in using Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.

●      Experience with relationship management (ex: Keen360, Microsoft Dynamics), project management (ex: Asana), and/or communications development applications (ex: Canva, Venngage).
