At the AI Horizons Summit in Bakery Square, Pittsburgh reaffirmed its position as a leader in artificial intelligence. Our CEO, Robert Cherry, joined local innovators on the panel, Preparing the Workforce of Tomorrow: Adapting Education for the AI Economy, moderated by Beth Schwanke, Executive Director at Pitt’s Institute for Cyber Law, Policy, and Security. Panelists included Duolingo Staff AI Research Scientist James Sharpnack, Google’s Senior Engineering Director Andy Carlson, and Point Park’s Founding Director for Experimental Narrative Technologies (CENT), Don Marinelli. Together, they discussed the future of education and workforce readiness in an AI-driven world
