PITTSBURGH — The 2023 Bridge to Work Job and Resource Fair, sponsored by Partner4Work and PA CareerLink®, will feature more than 100 employers from the Greater Pittsburgh area from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. September 5 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
The Job Fair, expected to draw more than 300 job seekers, many of whom are re-entering the workforce or entering it for the first time, will feature companies representing numerous industries including health care, financial services, transportation and logistics, construction and the trades, and public services such as the Pittsburgh Regional Transit Authority and Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority.
The Job Fair kicks off National Workforce Development Month and comes on the heels of the Labor Day holiday and Pittsburgh’s recent designation as a White House Workforce Talent Hub. In July, First Lady of the U.S. Jill Biden visited Pittsburgh to tout the new $1.2 trillion infrastructure law and the $669 billion Inflation Reduction Act as well as the region’s innovation in filling more than 50,000 open jobs.
