We are excited to celebrate the graduation of the 15th cohort of UPMC Health Plan’s Freedom House 2.0! This groundbreaking program equips individuals from economically disadvantaged communities with the training needed to become integral members of the emergency medical services (EMS) workforce.
Graduates of Freedom House 2.0 are prepared to handle both traditional emergencies and the growing non-emergency psychosocial needs that EMS professionals encounter. This unique approach strengthens the bond between first responders and the communities they serve, allowing graduates to provide compassionate, effective care and improve overall health outcomes.
We congratulate the graduates on their achievements and look forward to the positive impact they will continue to make!
