Jameelah Broadnax EARN Program Success Story

Upon her enrollment in the Wilkinsburg EARN program, Ms. Jameelah Broadnax worked closely with her career advisor, Family Advocate, and the Business Service Team to set and accomplish her goals given the many housing and training challenges she faced during the Global Pandemic. She was in and out of jobs in the home healthcare field, but was ultimately able to secure housing for herself and her family while, at the same time, educating herself in interview techniques. Recently Ms. Broadnax was presented with an offer at a construction agency called Southpointe Construction. She accepted the offer and completed the National Flagger Certification Training Course and now is working full-time. Ms. Broadnax is happy with the progress she is making and happy with the possibilities that are coming her way. She is determined to build a solid foundation for herself and her children which will lead to a better life for all of them.
