Success Spotlight: YCLA Scholars & Veterans Leading Civic Change

Partner4Work proudly supports the Youth Civic Leadership Academy (YCLA) as it empowers young leaders to address real-world challenges through research and civic engagement.

With support from Mayor Ed Gainey’s Office, YCLA Scholars and Veterans worked closely with community experts to inform their research—leading one group to plan a student-led resource event.

During the YCLA Research Symposium, students presented on pressing issues like teen drug use, parental mental health, and civic involvement—earning high praise for their insights, confidence, and dedication.

Their passion and commitment are inspiring, and we can’t wait to see how they continue turning research into action!
