Through 4Construction, Partner4Work is proud to be creating life-changing opportunities in Pittsburgh’s construction industry. This initiative has already made a powerful impact, equipping residents with skills for high-demand careers. One standout story is that of Troy Buefort, a graduate of Pittsburgh Gateways Corporation's Introduction to the Construction Trades Pre-Apprentice Training program and PIT2Work, in partnership with Pittsburgh International Airport.

Before joining PIT2Work, Troy had no experience in construction, but he quickly excelled, gaining skills, certifications, and confidence that have transformed his future. Now a skilled labor apprentice with Local 1058, Troy shared how PIT2Work has been a blessing and put him on the right path to success. Troy is a testament to how partnerships through 4Construction empowers local talent and supports career growth.

With additional investments from federal and local leaders, 4Construction is expanding to reach even more of our neighbors. This spring, shovels will hit the ground on a new training site, enabling graduates to transition seamlessly from training to paid work on major projects.
