The Career Pipeline Program offers paid vocational training opportunities with direct connections to employers and immediate job openings in the following industries:
- Construction
- Environmental Remediation
- Healthcare
- Automotive
- Finance
WHAT TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
- Builder’s Guild of Western Pennsylvania ‘Intro to the Trades’ Program
- Auberle's Environmental Job Training Program
- Allegheny Health Network's Nursing Aide Training Program
- #1 Cochran Lube Tech Training Program
The program provides comprehensive career services, pathways to earn GED/HSE, linkage to supportive services, and funding for transportation to and from training and job sites. Additionally, each training program results in a job paying a minimum of $13/hour.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Eligible applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 18-24
- Have past or present criminal justice system involvement
- Reside in Allegheny County
